Become a vital member of the inter-qualified team as a Unit Aide at Providence Care Hospital. This part time role includes assisting clients in daily living needs and ensuring a safe environment.
The Unit Aide at Providence Care will provide essential support to patients in meeting their behavioral, emotional, and physical needs. Engaging closely with an inter-qualified healthcare team, you'll assist with daily activities and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors alike. Candidates with experience in a healthcare setting are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Help with bathing, feeding, and dressing patients
Follow the inter-professional care plan for patient support




Participate in care plan discussions with team members
Guide patients and families during orientation to the unit
Accurately document care activities as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completed Personal Support Worker program preferred
One year of relevant patient support experience preferred
Experience with geriatric and palliative care populations
Training in UFIRST / PIECES / GPA preferable
