ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Service Counter Associate to join a busy team in Mount Pearl.

This position serves as the first point of contact for walk-in customers requiring fire extinguisher servicing, inspections, certifications, and fire safety products.

It combines: Customer service and sales Administrative and documentation duties Work order processing Inventory and shipping/receiving support Service coordination with technicians No previous fire safety experience is required.

Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service & Sales Assist walk-in customers with fire safety products Answer calls and direct inquiries Provide an excellent customer experience Equipment Intake & Service Coordination Receive fire extinguishers and equipment for servicing Conduct basic visual inspections Create and manage work orders Coordinate workflow between customers and workshop technicians Administration & Documentation Prepare service records and compliance paperwork Maintain accurate customer and equipment records Point-of-Sale Process cash, debit, credit, and account transactions Assist with opening and closing procedures Inventory & Shipping Receive and verify shipments Stock shelves and organize products Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight Safety & Housekeeping Maintain a clean and safe workspace Follow company safety procedures and quality standards Required Qualifications 1 to 3 years of customer-facing experience (retail, service counter, reception,



or customer support environments) 1 to 3 years of administrative/office experience Strong organizational and communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and positive references Ability to obtain security clearances where required Preferred Assets POS system experience Digital work order systems Quick
