Looking for a compassionate companion for my father, 70, who has early-onset Alzheimer''s.

He needs someone to take him on walks around the neighbourhood 35 times a week, for about an hour each visit.

Activities include neighbourhood walks, walking with him to our other properties so he can sort recycling (his one familiar chore you don''t need to do it, just supervise and let him do it, since it gives him a sense of purpose), light exercises, and card games or straightforward activities he enjoys.

An important part of the role is helping manage his social interactions while out he sometimes tries to talk to everyone he encounters and doesn''t always pick up on social cues when people don''t want to engage, so having someone patient and steady who can gently redirect him is key.

When are you looking to hire? As soon as possible.

Any special qualifications or training? No formal certification required,



but experience with dementia or Alzheimer''s care is a strong plus.

Most importantly, looking for someone patient, calm/non-reactive, kind, and with a good sense of humor. A cultural or language connection (e.g.

Filipino background, understanding of Tagalog) would be a wonderful bonus, though not required.

What is the work schedule? Flexible 3 to 5 visits per week, about 1 hour per visit.
