SK (position within Boart Longyear).Hourly Wage:$35.53 - $45.44/hrResponsibilitiesCheck for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine the extent of repair required.Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools.Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure work meets regulatory specifications.Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.Perform repair work on all Boart Longyear drilling equipment.Service specialty attachments or components and maintain, adjust and repair such items as required.Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed.Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.Requisition parts, materials, and supplies.Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.Minimum QualificationsTrade Certification (Red Seal); completion of an apprenticeship program.5-10 years of experience in the trade.Valid driver’s license (abstract required upon hire).Willing to travel as required.Willing to work outside and/or in a shop environment.Standard First Aid Certification.Basic Safety Orientation is an asset.Local to the Saskatoon area or willing to relocate.Compensation, Benefits and PerksBoart Longyear offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and career advancement opportunities with a focus on work-life balance.
