We are looking for an SAP Finance Functional Lead to join a Manufacturing client for a Contract role in Toronto, Ontario.

This position will work closely with project leadership and business stakeholders to strengthen finance-related processes, support functional analysis activities, and help align business needs with SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

The successful candidate will bring strong SAP finance expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide users through documentation, testing, and classroom-based training.

Responsibilities: Partner with project leaders, internal team members, and external consultants to support finance-focused functional analysis across the engagement.

Serve as the primary Finance business liaison between internal teams and external integration partner, translating business needs into actionable requirements, decisions, issues, and readiness activities.

Gather, clarify, and document business processes and standard operating procedures to create clear,



formal process records for stakeholders.

Translate business needs into functional guidance by ensuring requirements are well understood and aligned with the SAP implementation approach.

Review existing reference materials and internal documentation to identify gaps, refine process details, and support consistent execution.

Demonstrated ability to document workflow processes and departmental SOPs in a structured and practical manner.

Deliver training sessions and communicate complex information in a way that suits different audiences and levels of understanding.

Support testing activities using designated testing tools and help coordinate validation of finance-related processes and system outcomes.

Build solid working relationships across the project team by listening carefully, adapting messaging, and responding effectively to stakeholder concerns.
