This role calls for a lawyer licensed in Ontario, ideally with two years of experience dealing with child welfare law or family law proceedings. The successful candidate will demonstrate robust litigation and negotiation skills, alongside a commitment to fostering productive relationships in a diverse team. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic legal counsel to child protection staff
• Represent NEOFACS in court at all levels
• Apply Child,



Youth and Family Services Act expertise
• Engage in effective negotiation and conflict resolution
• Travel to serve various NEOFACS catchment areas

Requirements:
• LL.B. or J.D. degree with Law Society membership
• Relevant experience in child protection law
• Knowledge of PHIPA and related regulations
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• G Class driver's license required, vehicle access preferred
