Select People Solutions is searching for an experienced Controller to join our clients team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on financial skilled who can provide strong oversight of accounting operations while delivering accurate reporting and meaningful financial insight to support business decisions.

Collaborative environment with exposure to senior leadership Variety across accounting, reporting, budgeting, and operational finance Comprehensive Benefit package RRSP Package Compensation & Hours: The rate of pay is expected to be between $110K-$150K Monday through Friday, daytime hours Position Summary: Oversee core accounting functions, including financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable approvals, utility billing reviews, and indirect tax remittances.

Prepare and coordinate annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and year-end processes for multiple organizations.

Monitor project costing, inventory transactions, and capital asset accounting to ensure financial accuracy and effective resource management.

Develop, review, and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls while identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.

Provide financial analysis, strategic insights,



and performance measurement recommendations to support organizational decision-making and long-term planning.

Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to support budgeting, asset management, reporting, and special projects.

Present financial information and recommendations to senior leadership, governing bodies, and other stakeholders as required.

Provide leadership support and operational continuity in the absence of the senior finance executive.

Required Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting experience Min 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, including financial reporting and full-cycle accounting Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, budgeting, and financial analysis Advanced proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Class 5 License and reliable vehicle Right People.
