Elevate Lyft's security landscape as a Software Engineer within the Identity team. This hybrid role will leverage your skills in designing robust authentication systems and protecting user accounts.

You will join the Identity & Integrity organization at Lyft, focusing on the development of security features and optimizing user experiences. Collaborate across product, data science, and tech teams to design effective solutions against user vulnerabilities and fraud.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance multi-factor authentication frameworks
• Optimize verification processes including 2FA and email validation
• Guard against fraud and social engineering threats
• Maintain key microservices integral to the Identity team
• Address security challenges related to user verification

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in software engineering with Python, GO, or Java
• Knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud services
• Ability to create explicit and detailed design documentation
• Proven experience in mentoring fellow engineers
