This individual contributor role is for a privacy expert eager to translate complex regulatory requirements into feasible actions. You'll partner with diverse teams to maintain compliance with PIPEDA and other privacy laws while fostering programmable efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Plooto’s privacy program and ensure legal compliance
• Lead privacy assessments for new products and tools
• Develop transparent and actionable privacy guidance for projects
• Collaborate in shaping Plooto’s approach to AI governance
• Manage data rights requests and privacy incident reviews
Requirements:
• 3-6+ years of relevant privacy experience
• Familiarity with PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, and others
• Experience with Privacy Impact Assessments and privacy reviews
• Enthusiasm for AI and data governance
• Strong judgment and communication abilities
