Temporary 6month role based at our downtown Montral offices, in a hybrid work model Your role The Senior Financial Analyst is mandated to support the Finance team during yearend activities and to strengthen payrollrelated reconciliation processes.

This person will play a highly operational role, working on payroll account reconciliations while supporting the Finance team to free up capacity during monthly and annual closing activities.

What you will accomplish daily Perform detailed reconciliation of payroll balance sheet accounts, including identifying, analyzing, and resolving discrepancies.

Conduct a fullyear reconciliation of salaries and payroll expenses, ensuring alignment between payroll data,



accounting entries, and the general ledger.

Analyze historical variances and transactions, and document required adjustments.

Prepare and record journal entries and periodend adjustments when needed.

Ensure accounts and analyses are properly documented and supported for yearend and audit requirements.

Take ownership of certain recurring monthly closing activities to free up the Finance team and allow them to focus on yearend priorities.

Perform various adhoc financial and accounting analyses as required.

Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information and resolve discrepancies promptly.

What you need to join our team Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or financial control.

Strong experience in payroll and balance sheet account reconciliation.

Solid understanding of monthly and annual closing processes.

Good knowledge of SAP ECC, particularly the general ledger, journal entries, and financial data extraction/analysis.

Excellent command of Excel and ability to work efficiently with large data volumes.

Demonstrated ability to investigate discrepancies, trace transactions, and resolve accounting issues.
