Job Title: Terraform Developer Job Type: Full Time Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Work Model: Onsite Primary Skills: Terraform, Azure, Kubernetes Job Description We are seeking an experienced Terraform Developer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, containerization, and CI/CD.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python , and modern cloud data platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting scalable cloud infrastructure while supporting automated deployment processes and data engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Management Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure.

Support cloud platform management and ensure infrastructure reliability and performance.

Troubleshoot cloud networking issues and diagnose complex infrastructure problems.

Implement secure and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform .

Create reliable, scalable, and reusable Infrastructure as Code solutions.

Troubleshoot Terraform configurations and resolve infrastructure deployment issues.

Optimize Terraform definitions for maintainability, scalability, and efficiency.

Implement automation practices to improve infrastructure provisioning and management.

Containerization & Orchestration Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and containerization technologies.





Support container platforms across cloud environments.

Troubleshoot Kubernetes and container-related deployment and infrastructure issues. CI/CD Pipeline Development Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Automate build, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning processes.

Ensure reliable and repeatable application and infrastructure deployments.

Data Platform Expertise Work with modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake .

Support data workflows and cloud-based data engineering activities.

Apply knowledge of query federation and fundamental data engineering concepts.

Programming & Development Develop automation scripts and utilities using Python .

Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve automation and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

Robust experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure.

Strong cloud network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies .

Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of Databricks and Snowflake .

Understanding of query federation and fundamental data engineering concepts.

Strong hands-on Python programming and scripting experience.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
