Lead student engagement as a Lab Instructor in Visual Communication and Media Design at the University of Regina. This role combines teaching with innovative design practices.

This appointment for a one-year term begins January or July 2027 in the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance. We seek passionate educators who bring experience in studio environments and a dedication to fostering inclusion in design education. Your multidisciplinary approach will augment our unique programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach a total of 7 undergraduate design courses
• Facilitate lab, lecture, and online sessions
• Collaborate on course syllabi and artistic projects
• Advocate for diversity within academic practices
• Engage with community for creative initiatives

Requirements:
• MA, MFA, MDES, or PhD degree related to design
• Extensive university-level studio teaching experience
• Portfolio showcasing qualified creative work
• Effective communication and engagement skills
• Understanding of community and social practices in art
