Fraser Health is looking for a passionate Casual Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to enhance the mental health services offered in their busy inpatient unit. Your expertise in psychiatric nursing will be vital in delivering person-centered care and engaging effectively with patients and their families. You’ll work with a diverse interprofessional team focused on quality improvement and patient advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing assessments and evaluate care needs
• Facilitate total therapeutic unit programs




• Collect and document patient information accurately
• Communicate care plans effectively within the team
• Promote patient autonomy and dignity

Requirements:
• Registration with the BCCNM as a Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
• Graduation from a recognized nursing program
• Skills in mental health crisis intervention
• In-depth knowledge of psychopharmacology
• Excellent interpersonal and communicative abilities
