In this pivotal role, you will take charge of the Biosecurity work programme and inspire your team of seven to uphold the Council’s vision. With a focus on compliance and community impact, you will need a background in Biosecurity Management and a minimum of five years in a similar leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead biosecurity initiatives under the Biosecurity Act 1993
• Coordinate and mentor the Biosecurity team effectively
• Align team objectives with strategic plans
• Guide the implementation of pest management protocols
• Manage team performance and development opportunities

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• At least five years’ experience in Biosecurity leadership
• Proven skills in pest control and surveillance
• Solid leadership and motivational capabilities
• Extensive knowledge of biosecurity strategies and risks
