About:

Our team is currently looking for experienced QA Lead/Senior QA Consultant for contractual opportunities supporting a large-scale Connex migration program. We're particularly interested in professionals with hands‑on experience testing IBM Connex/payment switch platforms, as well as designing and executing end‑to‑end test strategies for complex payments ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

Connex switch migration, modernization, or replacement programs

ISO 8583 message testing and transaction life‑cycle validation

Experience using XCheck (IBM Connex/FIS legacy testing tool) for transaction simulation, ISO 8583 message validation, and payment switch testing

Testing strategy, test planning,



and test suite development

Mainframe processing and interface testing

ATM, POS, Debit, Credit, MCW, Interac, and network transaction flows

Authorization, reversals, stand‑in processing, settlement, and reconciliation flows testing

End‑to‑end and system integration testing across distributed and mainframe platforms

Test automation framework development and regression testing

Performance, volume, and resilience testing for high‑throughput payment systems

Defect management, root cause analysis, and production validation support

Experience working with payment processors, card networks, or acquiring/issuing systems
