The Director of Customer Experience Safety plays a vital role in implementing Safe and Welcoming practices across library branches. You will manage staff training, incident responses, and operational guidelines, creating spaces that promote security and inclusiveness. Your collaboration with various stakeholders will support the library's commitment to community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Safe and Welcoming frameworks and guidelines
• Guide organizational policies related to safety initiatives
• Supervise training and operational practice support
• Act as primary contact with external crisis teams
• Engage in teamwork and related duties
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies or equivalent
• 3-5 years in supervisory and operational roles
• Knowledge of community safety and trauma-informed approaches
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification necessary
Lead the charge in fostering safe library environments where every community member feels welcome and secure.
