The Coquitlam School District seeks an HVAC Mechanic I for a temporary 40-hour work week. Utilize your skills in HVAC maintenance to enhance our vibrant school community.

In this crucial role, you'll report directly to the Manager of Maintenance and the Mechanical Trades Supervisor. With at least three years of HVAC experience, your responsibilities will include the installation and repair of related systems while also performing preventative maintenance. Your expertise will ensure our facilities remain safe and effective for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair heating and ventilation equipment
• Calibrate and repair control systems
• Conduct air balancing on HVAC systems
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections
• Maintain materials and supplies for projects

Requirements:
• Trades Qualification in HVAC/Refrigeration
• Class B gas fitting ticket is necessary
• Three years of experience in HVAC maintenance
• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license
• Ability to work independently and effectively
