Journeyman Electrician without IRATA? We’re also prepared to train the right electricians to become Rope Access certified.

IRATA training opportunities for qualified Journeyman Electricians

Specialized electrical, heat trace and rope access experience

With the incentive, you're earning $51–$68/hour before AUTOVAC and RRSP matching.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
This is hands-on industrial electrical and heat trace work performed using rope access where required. Responsibilities include:

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and remove electrical heat trace systems

Perform heat trace splicing, terminations and associated electrical work

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, isometrics and work packages

Complete electrical installations, wiring and cable pulls

Perform testing, QA and commissioning of electrical and heat trace systems





Work safely around industrial equipment and process systems

Complete digital work packages and quality documentation

Follow LOTO, site safety requirements and MSCP's HSE program

Work collaboratively with electrical, rope access and site teams

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:

Industrial electrical experience

Heat trace installation and maintenance experience

Ability to splice heat trace

Comfortable working at heights and in an industrial environment

Valid driver's licence

Solid safety record and work ethic

Highly Valued:

IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 certification

Heat trace troubleshooting and commissioning experience

Experience with EHT control systems

Procore or other digital construction/work management experience

Current First Aid/CPR, WHMIS and H2S Alive
