Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Land Development Solutions on behalf of a leading engineering and consulting organization in Peterborough, Ontario.

This individual will play a key leadership role in the delivery of complex land development projects, overseeing multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, approvals, construction, and project closeout.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, consultants, and internal stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, mixed-use, and infill development projects while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business growth initiatives.

Skills and Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
5+ years of project management experience within consulting engineering, land development, or a related field.

Proven experience managing land development projects from planning and approvals through construction and closeout.

Robust understanding of: Grading and drainage design
Stormwater management
Municipal servicing
Water and wastewater infrastructure
Road and access design
Utility coordination
Erosion and sediment control
Experience preparing and reviewing technical studies, engineering reports, plans, and specifications.

Strong knowledge of Ontario municipal approval processes and regulatory requirements.

Experience managing project budgets, schedules, financial performance, risks, and resources.

Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating various technical disciplines.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Professional Engineer (P.

Eng.) designation.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Experience with proposal development, fee estimation, and responding to RFPs.

Previous experience mentoring junior engineering or project management staff.
