**Shipper and Receiver**
**Job Description**
This role is a key part of the Fulfillment & Logistics team, responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment while supporting receiving, work order processing, and general warehouse operations.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, spend most of your shift on your feet, and occasionally operate a forklift.

The position is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable with computers, and eager to learn and contribute across multiple areas of the operation.
**Responsibilities**
Perform daily shipping and receiving activities, including preparing outbound shipments and processing inbound deliveries.

Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently according to work orders and shipping requirements.

Load and unload trucks safely, including repetitive lifting of items up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

Handle materials and move inventory within the warehouse using appropriate equipment, including sit-down counterbalance forklifts when required.

Support general warehouse operations such as organizing stock, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, and assisting with workflow as needed.

Use warehouse management systems, including Netsuite WMS, to process orders, update inventory records, and complete shipping and receiving transactions.

Perform inventory control tasks, including counting, tracking, and reconciling inventory to ensure accuracy.

Use computer applications such as Excel and Outlook to manage documentation, communicate with team members, and support logistics processes.

Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment while working in the warehouse and production areas.

Participate in training on specialized equipment, including combilift, and apply training to daily operations.

Adapt to different shifts and schedules, including initial training shift and regular shift pattern, while maintaining consistent performance.
**Essential Skills**
Experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or fulfillment environment.

Proven ability in material handling and general labor tasks in a rapid-paced setting.

Order picking and packing experience with strong attention to accuracy and detail.

Inventory handling and basic inventory control experience.

Sit-down counterbalance forklift experience or certification.

Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and to stand and walk for most of the shift.

Experience loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.

Computer aptitude, including working knowledge of Excel and Outlook.

Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), preferably Netsuite.

Comfort working in a factory or production environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Combilift experience is an asset; training will be provided as needed.

Experience in a building materials or manufacturing environment is an asset.

Familiarity with Netsuite for order processing and inventory management.





Ability to adapt to different shift schedules, including weekday and weekend shifts.

Strong reliability and willingness to learn new systems and equipment.

Capacity to perform standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
**Work Environment**
The role is based in a factory and warehouse setting within the building materials industry, where PVC panels are manufactured using plastic extrusion machines.

The facility includes both production and warehouse operations and employs approximately 75 people, creating a busy but collaborative environment.

You will spend most of your time on your feet, standing, walking, and performing repetitive lifting. A training shift of Monday to Friday is provided for the first 30 days, followed by a regular shift schedule of Saturday to Wednesday.

Personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear, is required at all times in designated areas.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
