Kepler Academy is seeking a Nutritional Child Care Cook for our Summerside location. Focus on planning and serving meals that promote healthy development for children.

In this role at Kepler Academy, the largest childcare provider in Edmonton, you will be responsible for cooking nutritious meals daily. Your creativity in menu planning will cater to diverse dietary restrictions while ensuring the highest food safety standards. You will work independently within a supportive team dedicated to promoting children's health and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare diverse, balanced meals for up to 250 children
• Follow strict dietary guidelines and accommodation requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory of food and kitchen supplies
• Order groceries and ensure cleanliness of kitchen space
• Follow safety protocols and proper hand-washing practices

Requirements:
• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen
• Valid Food Safety Certificate required
• Standard First Aid certification is necessary
• Explicit criminal record check needed for service
