In this pivotal role, you will apply your extensive knowledge in rock mechanics to improve safety and stability across various mining projects. WSP seeks a leader to drive detailed geotechnical analyses and engage in project management from initial studies through to operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead rock mechanics studies for mining project safety
• Provide ground support and excavation stability recommendations
• Interpret complex geological data into actionable insights
• Manage deliverables and collaborate on multidisciplinary efforts




• Establish and maintain partnerships throughout project life

Requirements:
• Degree in mining, geological, geotechnical engineering
• 8+ years of relevant project experience in mining geotechnics
• Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible in Canada
• Familiar with stabilization tools like FLAC3D and EX3
• Experience leading field programs and technical reports
