Canada Post is hiring Letter Carriers – Delivery Agents in North Vancouver, BC, with coverage extending to Squamish, Sea to Sky, and the North Shore. As a temporary, on-call delivery agent, you'll be the face of Canada Post in your community and make sure customers and businesses get the mail and parcels they're waiting for.

Responsibilities

Sort and prepare the day's mail and parcels at the depot each morning

Load and operate a Canada Post postal vehicle safely and efficiently

Deliver mail and packages by foot and by vehicle to customers along your assigned route

Serve residential and business customers across North Vancouver, Squamish, Sea to Sky, and the North Shore

Unload incoming mail and packages upon returning to the depot for next-day processing

Work in all weather conditions, maintaining consistent and reliable service year-round

Requirements

Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years (driver's abstract required)





Physical ability to lift items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout each shift

Ability to work outdoors year-round in all types of weather

On-call availability

English and/or French language proficiency — reading, writing, and speaking

Customer service experience is an asset

Delivery or driving experience is an asset
