CHEO is looking for an Orthopaedic Technician in Ottawa to deliver exceptional care to pediatric patients. This role focuses on the management of casts and supporting families through treatment.

As an Orthopaedic Technician, you will apply, adjust, and remove casts and dressings, maintaining a high level of care for young patients. Engage with families, teach them about care techniques, and participate in clinical education. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cast and dressing adjustments
• Provide patient support throughout procedures
• Engage in teaching sessions with health science students
• Maintain equipment supplies in the clinic
• Document unusual findings accurately

Requirements:
• Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Registration as an Orthopedic Technologist or RPN needed
• Essential experience in orthopedics
• Positive interpersonal skills required
• Bilingualism in English and French is a plus
