Become a crucial part of the Integrated Stroke Unit team at Stratford General Hospital as a Registered Nurse. This part-time role focuses on providing comprehensive patient care and telemetry monitoring.

HPHA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support patient needs and implement care strategies in our Integrated Stroke Unit. As part of this agile team in Stratford, Ontario, you will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care while educating patients and their families about treatment options, ensuring adherence to HPHA policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate care and implement medical plans for patients
• Provide ongoing patient education and family support
• Conduct and document thorough assessments




• Monitor telemetry readings and vital signs
• Engage with multidisciplinary team members for quality care

Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is mandatory
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Stroke Care/Rehabilitation preferred
• Excellent assessment and communication abilities
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
