Equinox Gold seeks a Mine Geologist focused on RC Drilling for its Greenstone Mine in Geraldton, Ontario. Bring your geological expertise to support gold production in a protected and effective manner.

Reporting to the Geology Superintendents, you will ensure operational success within the RC Grade Control process. This crucial role involves managing drilling campaigns, monitoring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and providing technical guidance to Geological Technicians. You will also work closely with Mine Operations to facilitate efficient planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Reverse Circulation drilling operations
• Manage safety compliance and QA/QC procedures
• Lead mentoring initiatives for the geology team




• Collaborate on optimizing drilling processes
• Maintain accurate geological data and records

Requirements:
• Eligibility for Geologist-in-Training or Professional Geoscientist
• 1-2 years in open pit geology
• Knowledge of Archean lode gold deposits
• Familiarity with geological software applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or similar discipline
