Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location: Villeneuve, AB.

Valid Class 5 Drivers LicenseCSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment: Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test) Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Fitness to Work Assessment

Heavy Equipment Technician Responsibilities: Dismantle equipment and remove parts Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure

Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner

Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls

Ensure orders are filled in a timely manner, using electronic order systems.

Ensuring time efficiency when filing orders.





Research, identify and communicatecost.

Assist with maintaining inventory.

Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture

Heavy Equipment Technician Qualifications: Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal – Off Road or equivalent3rd year apprentices will be considered for this position Apprentices must be in good standing with AIT.

Prior CAT - SIS experience is considered a strong asset.

Prior Komatsu experience is beneficial.GET/Undercarriage knowledge is an asset.

Prior experience working as a Journeyperson Mechanic or mechanical background is considered a solid asset.
