This full time, permanent position requires you to manage safety standards during 12-hour shifts in the Fort McKay/Wood Buffalo Region. You will support site teams in hazard recognition and compliance, ensuring that health, safety, and environmental aspects align with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage safety compliance across mining operations
• Assist in minimizing hazards and improving workplace safety
• Advocate for OH&S; initiatives and legislative adherence
• Provide consistent HSE guidance to staff
• Conduct safety investigations and share learnings

Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of relevant HSE experience
• NCSO credential from ACSA needed
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance
• Experience in change initiatives and Root Cause Analysis
• Basic computer skills, especially in MS Office
