In this hybrid role, you'll collaborate with artists and engineers to troubleshoot pipeline issues and streamline workflows. With over five years in the animation or VFX industry, you're well-versed in lighting tools and technologies. Your technical direction will be key to ensuring that production standards are met, and artistic visions are realized.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a technical advisor on lighting for production teams
• Maintain and develop high-quality code and tools
• Identify and resolve workflow inefficiencies with cross-disciplinary teams




• Participate in quality assurance and testing of current technology
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members

Requirements:
• 5+ years as a pipeline TD in animation or VFX
• Solid experience with lighting and rendering software
• Competency in Python and awareness of code management tools
• Understanding of computer graphics principles and department workflows
• Related degree or equivalent experience in animation/VFX
