Interior Community Services is hiring Community Support Workers in Kamloops, BC. This part-time role allows you to make a positive impact on seniors with diverse abilities.

As a valuable member of the Desert Gardens Day Program, you'll support individuals in various activities, monitor health and personal care needs, and promote meaningful community inclusion. This role requires relevant certification, experience, and a valid BC Class 5 license, with comprehensive training provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate recreational and community participation for clients
• Assist clients with mobility via supportive techniques
• Maintain personal care standards and monitor health needs
• Collaborate with team members on client goals and care plans




• Follow detailed procedures for medication administration

Requirements:
• Community Support Worker Certificate or equivalent education
• At least 1 year of experience with diverse populations
• BC Class 5 driver's license or Class 4 considered beneficial
• Background in CPR and secure handling principles is advantageous
• Successful completion of a criminal record check required
