Job Description:
Iris's client, one of the world's largest multinational investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire a Java Developer Our direct client is a is a world-leading financial services company, provides consumers, corporations, governments, and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products.

We are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring, Microservices, Kafka, GraphQL, REST APIs, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have strong design and development capabilities and practical experience leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) technologies within software engineering or application development.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on development experience with Java.

Solid experience with Spring / Spring Boot.

Proven experience designing and developing Microservices.

Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.

Experience developing and integrating GraphQL and REST APIs.

Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Strong system design and application development skills.





Hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies or AI-assisted software development tools.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and software engineering principles.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
