Grace Gospel Church is a vibrant, multi-generational and multi-ethnic church in the heart of Niagara Falls, celebrating 90 years of God’s faithfulness in our Bible teaching, gospel-centered, discipling ministry.

The Youth Pastor gives special priority to the evangelism and discipleship of Grade 6-12 students within our church ministry.

Primary Function:
The Youth Pastor will develop, implement, coordinate, and lead the weekly Youth Ministries of Grace Gospel Church to disciple church youth and equip them to reach out to their peers.

Accountability:
Accountable to the Lead Pastor with the Executive Pastor, who will provide pastoral support and guidance to the Youth Director and the Youth Ministry.

Employment Details:
Full-time, 40 hours/week. Rate of Pay: $55,000. salary plus benefits.

Demonstrate a clear testimony of faith and a passionate devotion to Christ and His church.

Be a member in good standing, thus able to agree in belief and practice with the GGC Statement of Faith, uphold the GGC Constitution and Policies, submit to the direction of the Elders, and annually sign a Leadership Covenant. The successful applicant will also be required to submit a current police Criminal Records Check.

Maintain a robust devotional life of worship, prayer, and personal study of God’s Word, resulting in a deepening spirituality and relationship with Christ.

Live out and teach a lifestyle of adherence to biblical standards of morality, ethics, and the fruit of the Spirit, representing GGC’s vision and values as he fulfills his responsibilities. (1 Cor. 15:58; Rom.

Accomplish his responsibilities as a shepherd of God’s flock with a spirit of humility, approachability, compassion, wisdom, honesty, integrity, unity and joy as a servant‑leader.

Represent GGC’s vision and values as he ministers to the congregation, keep confidences, and share in ministry with the other Pastors and Elders as part of a ministry team.

Responsibilities –

Attend Grace Gospel Church faithfully on Sundays, being involved in the service as required, connecting with youth and parents, and taking a scheduled turn teaching the Jr High Sunday School Class.

Build relationships with Jr. High and Sr. High Youth, showing regular interest in their lives and activities, and caring for them spiritually as a mentor and a godly influence.

Lead the weekly Youth Ministry night with a focus on worship, prayer, biblically based teaching, lesson‑based breakout discussions, gym/game time, and inclusion of the gospel, through relevant, engaging, encouraging, and dynamic ministry programming.

Develop and support the youth band, supporting the student musicians as they learn and grow in their skills and understanding of worship.





Plan and implement a monthly special event/activity as well as lead a monthly Sunday evening in-depth bible study.

Build relationships with Jr. High and Sr. High Youth, caring for them spiritually as a mentor and a godly influence.

Recruit and develop the Youth Ministry Leaders Team, equipping them in their roles, and meeting with them periodically to listen, encourage, and offer support.

Build relationships with parents of the Jr. High and Sr. High Youth, as able to promote and encourage their teen’s spiritual growth and engagement with Christ and His church.

Be responsible for coordinating weekly youth ministry cleanup and closing the church building.

Prepare Youth Ministry spaces and provide resources and supplies within the scope of the approved church budget.

Attend to required routine administration.

Promote all GGC ministries on Social Media platforms, including regular updates of activities and events as listed on the church calendar.

Be available to take part in other church ministries and assist other pastors as needed in pastoral care, preaching, and general ministry support, participating in the life and ministry of the church as an active member.
