Support patient rehabilitation at Surrey Memorial Hospital as a Relief Full-Time Rehabilitation Assistant in Surrey, B.C. Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

In this role, you'll be an essential part of the Medicine Unit team until September 2027, executing treatment plans and observing patient progress. You will engage in important activities like mobility training and cognitive observation, reporting findings to improve treatment plans. Your work will help foster recovery in patients as part of a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement assigned rehabilitation activities under skilled guidance
• Observe and document changes in patient behavior and abilities




• Prepare and apply treatment modalities per PT or OT directives
• Train patients and families on mobility and assistive devices
• Manage and maintain therapy equipment and inventory

Requirements:
• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent
• Communicative and capable of effective team interaction
• Adequate physical condition for hands-on tasks
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Knowledge in operating therapeutic equipment
