Sacred Heart YMCA invites applications for a Child Care Cook and Early Years Educator in Rockwood. This permanent, full-time role is designed for those who love cooking and working with children.

In this position, you will actively prepare and serve meals that meet the nutritional needs of children aged 0-12. You'll work within the guidelines of the Child Care and Early Years Act to create a secure and inviting atmosphere conducive to children's growth. Your role will involve multitasking and effective time management in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and present nourishing meals for young children
• Adhere strictly to food safety and public health standards




• Cater to children’s individual dietary needs and preferences
• Support child development through interaction and education
• Maintain hygiene and organization in the kitchen

Requirements:
• Minimum of High School Diploma required
• Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Food Handling certificate necessary
• Familiarity with food safety regulations
• Physical ability to lift children and handle workloads
