Interior Health is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our Support Services Team at Princeton General Hospital, in Princeton, BC.

About the Job

Portioning and serving meals and beverages within a dining room and/or cafeteria operation.

Counts, weighs and/or measures ingredients for assigned food preparation area.

Washing and peeling vegetables and fruit.

Assembles beverages and food items - tea, coffee, sandwiches,



salads, bag lunches, items for Meals on Wheels program.

Setting up and delivering meal carts.

Cleaning of food service areas.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and evenings rotating from 06:00 to 13:00, 11:30 to 18:30 hours.

Qualfications

Grade 10, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Food Safe Certificate.
