Compassion Hospice is growing, and we are seeking compassionate, dependable PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our exceptional hospice team. If you are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Job Responsibilities
As a PRN CNA, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to hospice patients while working closely with our interdisciplinary care team.

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

Bathing

Dressing

Grooming

Toileting

Feeding

Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning.

Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided.

Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety while following individualized care plans.

Adhere to infection control,



safety standards, and agency policies.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Current Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care preferred.

Current CPR certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented healthcare team.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
