Lead mill operations at Eskay Creek Mine with Skeena Gold + Silver Limited. We are seeking an experienced Mill Operations Supervisor committed to safety and efficiency.
Reporting to the Mill Superintendent, this position demands solid leadership and operational capabilities in ore processing environments. You'll manage a dedicated team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols while driving performance improvements. Your expertise in both technical and people management will be key as you prepare for commissioning and support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety culture and conduct area audits
• Develop operator training and Safe Work Instructions
• Monitor and improve mill performance metrics
• Lead troubleshooting and performance gap addressing
• Cultivate a culture of accountability and integrity
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in mill operations
• Valid BC Mine Supervisor ticket required
• Strong skills in safety-focused decision-making
• Proven capability in mentoring and developing staff
• Thorough understanding of risk management in operations
