About the Role Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join their fully remote security operations team. This role is critical for proactively identifying, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats that could impact the organization. You will leverage advanced security tools and techniques to monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and conduct in-depth investigations. Key Responsibilities Monitor security alerts and events from various sources (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) to detect potential security incidents.
Perform in-depth analysis of security threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches, identifying root causes and recommending mitigation strategies.
Develop and refine detection rules, threat hunting methodologies, and incident response playbooks.
Conduct forensic investigations and malware analysis to understand attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage and resolve security incidents effectively.




Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, providing expert advice and guidance.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, or incident response.
Proven expertise in security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack), and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common attack vectors.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security automation is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
