Monitor database performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities
Perform database tuning, query optimization, and index management
Manage database backups, recovery strategies, and disaster recovery planning
Ensure high availability and reliability of databases through replication, clustering, or failover mechanisms
Implement and maintain database security, access controls, and compliance standards
Support application development teams with database design, schema changes, and performance improvements
Troubleshoot database issues, incidents, and outages in a timely manner
Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations
Maintain documentation for database architecture, configurations, and procedures
Robust background in MySQL
