Take a pivotal role in child welfare as a Team Member focusing on Foster Care and Adoption with Payukotayno. Help strengthen caregiver placements through assessments and training.

As part of the Child Welfare Department, you will work in Moosonee, Timmins, and other designated sites. This position requires engaging with caregivers and first nations to ensure placements are culturally appropriate and legally compliant. Your efforts will facilitate healing and belonging for children in care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct structured interviews and assessments for caregivers
• Monitor and document placements to meet agency standards
• Facilitate training and coaching for recent caregivers
• Work alongside various teams for effective case planning




• Engage in seasonal agency events and staff debriefings

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Experience in permanency planning and caregiver support
• Understanding of First Nations solutions in caregiving
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Access to a vehicle for travel within the region
