What You’ll Need

Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core with specialty modules relevant to underground construction, or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of underground mining or underground construction experience





Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, civil prints, and standard work procedures

Strong personal safety record and commitment to safe work practices

Ability to meet all site access, medical surveillance, and respirator fit-testing requirements

Canadian citizenship or written authorization to work in Canada and current residency in Canada

What Will Make You Stand Out

Additional Common Core specialty modules (shotcrete, concrete, equipment operation)

Trade skills such as carpentry, pipefitting, welding, or cutting and burning

Rigging and hoisting training, overhead crane operator certification

Experience with underground mining contractors on development or construction projects

Experience at remote or fly-in/fly-out project sites

Standard First Aid/CPR certification
