Enhance public health and safety as a Water and Wastewater Operator at Public Works. This role demands proficiency in maintaining and repairing critical water systems, using heavy machinery, and ensuring compliance with safety norms.

You will directly report to the Supervisor of Water and Wastewater while engaging in key tasks such as inspecting, maintaining, and repairing water and wastewater service lines. Experience and a strong foundation in managing these systems will be critical elements for success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Locate and maintain water distribution systems efficiently
• Inspect and repair storm sewer connections
• Commission recent water mains and service lines
• Utilize heavy equipment and hand tools safely
• Document all work in logbooks

Requirements:
• Grade 12 Graduation or equivalent
• Capability to obtain Operator licenses within 90 days
• Minimum five years in relevant experience
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Valid Class 'AZ' driver's license required
