Vancouver Christian School is a diverse K–12 independent school in Vancouver, British Columbia. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Grade 1 (0.4 FTE) from mid-November to June 2027 . At VCS, we have the privilege of teaching and shaping our students through every interaction within and outside our classrooms. As teaching staff, we love to nurture the potential we see in every child and to share God's love through our actions and words.

Requirements

Certified teacher in British Columbia

Completion of a Bachelor of Education

ECE is an asset

Experience teaching numeracy and literacy

Understanding of faith integration across the curriculum

Strong understanding of differentiated instruction

Solid working knowledge of current pedagogy, sound assessment practices and learning

Salary range
$60,000 to $107,158 per school year (Dependent on education, qualifications, and experience; pro-rated for part-time teachers)
