Our client is seeking a vigilant and analytical Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join their fully remote global security team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats in real-time across the organization's vast network and systems. You will leverage state-of-the-art security tools to identify suspicious activities, analyze security alerts, and escalate incidents as necessary, playing a direct role in defending against cyberattacks. Key Responsibilities Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR systems.
Analyze security incidents to determine scope, impact, and root cause, developing timely and effective response actions.
Perform threat hunting activities to proactively identify and neutralize potential security threats.
Document security incidents, actions taken, and outcomes in detail for reporting and post-incident reviews.
Stay current with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.




Collaborate with other security teams to share threat intelligence and improve overall security posture.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
1-3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment or similar security role.
Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), network protocols, and common attack vectors.
Understanding of incident response methodologies and cyber security best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
