The Opportunity RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Elementary Generalist teachingposition starting September 28, 2026 until November 10, 2026 at Elbow Valley Elementary School.
Elbow Valley Elementary School is located in Springbank (on the western edge of Calgary) and serves French Immersion and English students from grades K-4. For more information regarding this school,

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.
Pre-employment Requirements Applicantsmust possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certificationwith Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
New/Recent Graduates Only : In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.
External applicantsmust provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job prospect, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months
