Reporting to the Manager, Operations & Accounting, the Accountant & Financial Analyst will take ownership of day‑to‑day corporate accounting, financial reporting, and the investment management fee cycle, while building the dashboards and analysis that leadership relies on.
This is a primarily in‑person role based in the Dieppe office, with some flexibility for work from home. It will suit someone who enjoys accounting and financial analysis, is comfortable working with data and technology, and wants to grow a career that brings the two together.
What you’ll be doing Managing day to day accounting activities, including accounts payable.
Preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Participating in the monthly and quarterly close process.
Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules.
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, year end reporting, and the annual audit.
Coordinating the firm's investment management fee calculation and billing cycle.
Reviewing and reconciling fee calculations and investigating exceptions.
Maintaining appropriate controls and documentation over the fee process.




Developing and maintaining financial and operational dashboards for management.
Preparing recurring management reports and financial analysis.
Analyzing results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
Supporting ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements.
What we are looking for Post‑secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Strong accounting, quantitative, and analytical skills.
Strong Excel skills and general comfort with technology.
The ability to work accurately with financial and operational data.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
Someone who enjoys taking ownership of recurring financial processes and is interested in building a career across accounting, reporting, and business analytics.
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and data analysis tools is considered an asset.
Experience in financial services or investment management is considered an asset.
Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
What we offer Base compensation range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year depending on experience
