Assignment: Part-time 0.74 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
Seeking a dynamic and passionate junior high teacher to join the IRJC team
Courseload to include: Grade 7-8 Science, Health, and two CTF option classes
Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until November 1, 2026, with the possibility of extension
Qualifications: Experience and confidence teaching core subject areas as listed above, would be considered an asset
Demonstrate strong instructional practices across core subject areas
Build positive and supportive relationships
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience teaching in junior high would be considered an asset
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
Assessment literate

Ability to use diverse instructionalstrategies tomeet a wide range of individual needs
Strong technology and 21st Century Learning Skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Effective classroom management skills
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
