Amazon Canada is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the product compliance vision and roadmap for the Canadian consumer business. This role sits at the intersection of customer safety, regulatory risk, and business growth — working backwards to ensure our Canadian customers have a delightful experience.
Key job responsibilities
Own the compliance product vision and roadmap for CA — proactively identifying emerging Canadian regulatory requirements and translating them into prioritized investments
Assess regulatory risk using data-driven frameworks; draw on regulatory knowledge to offer risk-based solutions that balance compliance rigor with selection growth and seller experience
Partner across global teams including business, legal, GTS, RISC, and others to build solutions that improve the quality of our controls and reduce time to resolve issues
Drive retail category strategy and decision making with comprehensive compliance performance metrics and building AI toles
Influence technology decisions for compliance tooling — partnering with engineering to prioritize scalable solutions while understanding data flows, collection, retention, and security standards
Own end-to-end launches for compliance controls across Legal, Tech, Operations, and Business teams; design mechanisms for continuous stakeholder engagement and visibility
Proactively identify process simplification opportunities and raise the customer experience bar by optimizing risk-based controls and removing unnecessary friction
Perform competitive benchmarking to ensure Amazon Canada compliance programs exceed industry standards
Produce clear strategic documents (PR/FAQs, 6-pagers) and contribute to OP1/OP2 planning
The Canada Product & Tech team aims to provide the best experience for Canadian customers by driving business inputs and deploying technology solutions where centralized tech fails to meet country-specific needs. The team focuses on five key areas: shopping experience, delivery speed, crossborder selling, secondary language experience, and supply chain.
