MDT is looking for a Highway Maintenance Technician to perform essential maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include operating various trucks and heavy machinery, snow control, and critical repairs to highways and roadside areas. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate trucks and heavy equipment efficiently
• Conduct snow and ice management on highways
• Perform roadway repairs and vegetation care
• Install and maintain traffic signs and guardrails
• Handle culvert installation and other maintenance tasks

Requirements:
• Valid Montana Commercial Operators License (Class A)
• Three years of relevant experience in road maintenance
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate required
• Ability to work various shifts
• Must live within 45 road miles of Rogers Pass
