Career Opportunity: Fire Alarm Technician
Four Alarm, a dynamic and expanding organization in the fire safety industry, is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. We specialize in providing top-notch inspection, maintenance, and repair services for fire alarm systems. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to our success.

Responsibilities:

Conducting Power-Up, Programming, Verification, and Inspection of fire alarm systems.

Generating electronic reports and ensuring timely submission of inspection reports.

Providing technical support to customers as required.

Delivering operational training to end-users.

Ensuring a positive customer experience with Four Alarm.

Reading and comprehending engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals.

Requirements and Skills:

1+ years of experience as a Service Technician in the Fire Alarm industry or relevant experience as an Electrician.

Valid Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration OR Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certificate or equivalent qualification (red seal).

Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.

Ability to use basic hand tools, industry-standard testing equipment, electrical meters,



and elevating devices (ladders).

Capability to lift equipment and tools weighing up to 50lbs.

Proficiency in climbing ladders and scaffolding.

Possession of a valid Class 5 or better motor vehicle license with a clean record.

Efficient navigation skills in the City and surrounding areas, as jobs are electronically dispatched with mapping abilities.

Competency in Microsoft Office applications and the Windows operating system (specific computer training will be provided after hiring).

Knowledge of Fire-Lite, Maple Armor, Notifier, Simplex, EST (Edwards), Mircom, and Siemens systems is an asset (field and system training will be provided after hiring).

Compensation and Benefits:

$36.00 to $45.00 / hour – Commensurate with experience
